About Eve Cork
At Eve Cork, we love the Earth and all living things. Our mission is to create beautiful products while having a positive impact on the environment.
Carefully hand harvesting the bark from the cork oak trees helps them to grow, live longer and produce more oxygen.
Made in Portugal by skilled artisans, our European inspired collection is 100% cruelty-free, eco-friendly and ethically made using only sustainably sourced materials.
Sustainability is the cornerstone of our brand. From how our materials are sourced, to how we practice business, the greater well-being of people and our planet are at the core of everything we do.
We only use the highest grade, sustainably sourced materials and do not cut any corners with our workers or production.
Our products are as close to nature as you can get. We believe in supporting the environment and letting it shine though in our unique material.
All of our products are made out of premium cork material that comes from the bark of the cork oak tree. Harvesting the bark from a cork oak tree every 9 - 10 years helps the tree to grow and live longer.
As the cork tree continues to mature and go through harvest, the tree is able to absorb more carbon dioxide to support its bark regeneration. As a result, our harvested trees will filter more carbon dioxide than those left untouched, resulting in cleaner air for everyone.
All of the cork we use carries the Forest Stewardship Council Certification and comes from family owned farms in Portugal, where the workers are paid a fair wage to carefully remove the cork by hand. The aged cork bark allows us to yield a soft, beautiful and durable material, which we use to make our products.
Other materials we use include organic cotton for our liners, vegan glues and all-natural vegetable dyes. No living things are harmed in the process of creating our products, no harmful chemicals are used and all of our products are PETA approved.
